Club Tournaments

Winchcombe Table Tennis Club has an annual closed tournament which is open to all members and associate members of the club.

Two titles are played for every year the "Sam Ewens Double's Trophy" and the " Dick Prior Single's Trophy". Both events are run by the club and are handicapped allowing all the players the opportunity to win. The double's partnerships are selected at random to make the event even more fun and competitive.

The event normally runs at the end of the table tennis season in March or April and is organised by the club secretary. After the event traditionally most head down to the local pub the Royal Oak at Gretton for drinks, chips and chat about the evening. 

Trophies and Shields are awarded to both winners and runners up and are presented at the barbecue fundraising evening or at the Annual General Meeting.

The club have also ran a hard bat tournaments and hope to continue this trend.
